Due a protest by over 600 candidates over delay in question papers, the alleged paper leak, CBSE cancelled the second paper of UGC NET 2018 at the Convent School in Bamrauli in Allahabad on Sunday. CBSE Allahabad region has decided to withdraw the affiliation of the school.
The exam will be conducted in a week’s time again and the aspiring candidates will be informed through email and SMS.
After Paper 1 was conducted smoothly there was a delay of over 15 minutes in distribution of papers. The aspirants informed the invigilator and alleged that there has been a paper leak. The authorities on duty were unable to explain the delay.
The candidates came out on road to protest and demand cancellation of exam.
According to CBSE officials the seating plan was not in order which caused the delay.
It is also said that there was a delay due to serializing of question papers.
New Admit Cards will be made available to candidates in a couple of days.
