UGC NET 2014 application process will start from April 15

The University Grants Commission will soon be starting with the application process for the National Eligibility Test for June 2014. The UGC NET 2014 application process will start from April 15, 2014. The NET examination is set to be held on June 29, 2014 after qualifying if which the candidate can apply for the position of Lecturer in any university or college in the country. You can also qualify for Junior Research Fellowships.

The UGC NET examination is conducted twice in a year in the months of June and December. The last date for application for the JUNE 2014 examination is May 05, 2014.

The eligibility of UGC NET examination calls the candidate to have a Masters degree in Art/Sciences by any of the UGC recognised universities/institutes with a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate percentage, which stands to be 50 per cent in the case of SC/ST. To apply for the Junior Research Fellowship, the candidate’s maximum age is 28, whereas Lectureship does not have an upper age limit.

The UGC NET Examination will consist of three papers of objective-type questions which are further divided into two sessions. Papers 1 and Paper 2 are covered in first session and Paper 3 in the second session. The arts subjects including Social Sciences and Languages are handled by UGC while Science Subjects such as Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences are managed by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) jointly with UGC.

    I am in job from 1990 in agricultural university nd frm,2005 I am assistant proffesser and from 2002 I am a phd holder…and university is not giving full wages…should I give net???
