Private and Deemed Universities cancel their Medical & Dental Entrance Exams. A number of private medical entrance tests for admission to medical and dental programs have been cancelled or postponed by the Universities following the Supreme Court’s order
The Supreme Court said in the hearing on May 5, that no clarification is required on making the National Eligibility Entrance Test a common entrance exam for entry into medical programs across the country.
Most recently, the Hon’ble Supreme Court allowed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the medical colleges in India. The Apex Court recalled its 2013 order which had held the All India common entrance test, the NEET, for admission to MBBS, BDS, and various PG courses as “illegal” and “unconstitutional”.
