The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2016 will be conducted by the seven zonal IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2016. JEE Advanced 2016 registration will start from April 29. As per the notification issued, JEE Main 2016 results are likely to be declared on April 27. The performance of a candidate in JEE Advanced 2016 will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programmes (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs and the ISM.
The HRD ministry had made the ‘Ashok Mishra Committee’ report public in the month of November for further discussion with stakeholders. The Ministry has received positive feedback for changes in JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) on recommendations of a government-appointed panel. It could lead to major changes in the admission process for IITs and NITs, including the introduction of a compulsory SAT-like aptitude test for aspirants i.e. a single common entrance test.

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Guwahati has launched the new official website of JEE Advanced that will be organising the JEE Advanced 2016 exam. The new website was introduced on October 24, 2015. From the year 2016, some imp changes have been made in JEE Advanced 2016 exam.
The JEE Advanced entrance test is expected to be held in the month of May 2016. JEE advanced is the basis for admission to bachelor of engineering in IIT’S.JEE advanced is considered as a basis for admission to bachelor of engineering courses in various IIT’s and other reputed engineering institutes.
The online application for JEE Main 2015 has begun from today; November 07, 2014, for registration in UG programmmes in NITs, IITs and other centrally funded technical institutions.
The last date for completing the online registration process is December 18, 2014. The examination fee at the time of registration can be paid either through debit card/credit card or through E-challan generated on successful completion of the application.
Even though students from both the states are perplexed over their fate in the national exam, they are still in a state of uncertainty regarding the outcome of separate tests. While a section believes that smaller states are benefitting with lesser scores, some are of the opinion that such life changing decisions must be taken a year in advance.
The decision was made due to the recent uproar the admissions created as there were candidates who besides getting distinction in Class XII exams and doing well in their JEE exam could not manage a seat in the IITs.
