IIM Udaipur may coordinate admission in Six New proposed IIMs. IIM-U is already handling personal interviews alongside written ability test for the proposed IIMs at Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Punjab.
The Central Government announced that it will be setting up a new Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Karnataka along with new Indian institute of Management (IIMs) in Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.
Under this common admission procedure, the IIMs at Ranchi, Raipur, Kashipur, Rohtak, Udaipur and Trichy will be conducting a unified Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis Test (WAT).

The registration for CAT 2014 is to remain open for 56 day; from August 6, 2014 to September 30, 2014. The students will be able to download their admit card from October 16 onwards till the day of the examination.
