Delhi University is likely to start the admission process for its postgraduate courses from April 11 onwards. The university is likely to announce the details of the admission process by the end of this week. According to the sources, the application process will start from April 11 and the last date for submission of forms will be May 14. Around 8,000 students are to be enrolled for the 2016-17 academic session.
“We are working on this. I wouldn’t call them one year or two year, but rather call them credit based. So you are required to have a certain number of credits. If you are coming from Delhi (university) system, the requirements of credits will be much less in masters’ program than for someone coming from another system. The expectation is that a DU student will be able to gain the credits in about a year’s time,” Singh said while addressing questions on the proposed changes.
