Panjab University (PU) will be rolling out Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Credit Framework for Skill Development (CFSD). The primary motive behind introducing this new move was to “provide wider options to students and allow their seamless mobility across institutions.”
University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked all affiliated universities to all possible action necessary for the semesterisation of course curriculum and grading system. UGC’s directive has come at a time when many states have stepped up to embrace choice based credit program in colleges and universities from the forthcoming academic session.
