CAT 2014 results out. Out of approx 1.75 lakh CAT 2014 takers, 16 students have scored 100 percentile while several candidates scored 99.99 percentile in the CAT 2014 exam. Candidates can check results on CAT 2014 official website.
There is a forecast that this also might result in the rise of cut off of the top business schools in the country because of the increase in the number of questions per section. This increase is said to make it easier for the students as it is going to decrease the difficulty level and allowing them to score better.
Data collected till August 6, 2014 shows that a total of 89 non-IIM institutes currently accept CAT scores. The figure is a stiff decline from last year’s 125. In 2012, over 150 non-IIM institutes in total were accepting CAT scores.
The registration for CAT 2014 is to remain open for 56 day; from August 6, 2014 to September 30, 2014. The students will be able to download their admit card from October 16 onwards till the day of the examination.
