SSC CGL (Tier 1) 2016 results released


SSC has declared the SSC CGL (Tier 1) 2016 result: Tier 2 exam scheduled on November 20

The results of SSC Combined Graduate Level (Tier 1) 2016 exam have been released by the Staff Selection Commission on their official website. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check their results by visiting the official website.

The SSC CGL 2016 Tier-1 exam was held from August 27 to September 11, 2016, across 415 exam centres in 96 cities in the country. More than 38 lakh candidates registered for the SSC CGL exam this year out of which 14.99 lakh appeared in the exam.

The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will be conducted by the Commission from November 30 to December 2, 2016. The SSC will declare the confirmed schedule of Tier 2 examination shortly.

SSC had scheduled a re-examination for the second shift exam held on August 27, 2016 (4:14 pm to 5:30 pm). The re-exam was scheduled for only those candidates who had already written the August 27 Batch II exam and not for the candidates who registered but not appeared in the exam. The Commission had scheduled the re-examination on October 27.

SSC has issued another notice on its website in which the Chairman of SSC said that the final results of the SSC CGL recruitment 2016 will be released in April 2017 tentatively.

How to check the SSC CGL Tier 1 2016 result:

  1. Visit the official website of the SSC; www.ssc.nic.in
  2. Under the “Latest News” section will be a link for the result of the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2016.
  3. Click on the link and another page will be opened.
  4. Enter the details like registration number, date of birth, etc. and click on ‘Submit’.
  5. Your result will be displayed on the screen
