Civil service aspirants gathered in large numbers in front of the Parliament today to lodge protest against the current pattern of the exam conducted by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC).
Protests outside Parliament over civil service exam patterns. The protesters shouted slogans just outside the main entrance of the Parliament as several of them were detailed by the cops. They also confirmed that the protests will go on until their demands are made.
“All we want are three extra attempts, age relaxation for three years and reduction of Civil Service Aptitude Test Exam weightage for the benefit of regional and rural based candidates,” the protesters demanded, Zee News reports.
It’s been awhile now since civil servants started protesting against the existing civil service exam patterns conducted by the UPSC.
