Private and Deemed Universities cancel their Medical Entrance Exams

A number of private medical entrance tests for admission to medical and dental programs have been cancelled or postponed by the Universities following the Supreme Court’s order that no private college or deemed university can conduct its medical entrance exam.

Private Universities  cancelled their Medical Entrance Exams

The KRLMPCA UGET exam scheduled on May 22 and many other private entrance tests have been cancelled in Karnataka following the cancellation of COMEDK entrance test. Nitte University, Mangaluru will also postpone its entrance exam scheduled on May 9, for which 5000 students have already applied.

The Manipal university entrance test for medical and dental courses supposed to be conducted from May 8 has also been cancelled. The Yenepoya University has stopped receiving applications for its entrance exam for which 2500 students have already applied.

However, the universities having a Common Entrance Test for multiple courses will continue their tests for the courses other than medical and dental programs.
