The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made changes in its revaluation policy of class XII answer sheets. As per the new policy, only 10 questions of a particular theory examination can be revalued.
One of the board officials confirmed that students will initially have to make a request for the photocopy of their answer sheet and then fill up the form for revaluation. Under the Right to Information Act, request for revaluation of marks and for acquiring the photocopy of the answer sheet will not be entertained.

Students can apply online from 28 June to 04 July, 2014 for the verification of their marks. Requests will be entertained for revaluation of English core, English Elective, Functional English, Hindi core, Hindi Elective, Mathematics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Economics and Accountancy.
A CBSE official confirmed that only 10 answers will be revaluated in the theory part of the above mentioned subjects and the requests will be received only online. The students will also have to pay a fee of INR 100 per answer.
The Board also made it clear that no second request for additional answers will be accepted and if there is a difference of more than five marks, then the earlier marks will be cancelled and the new marks will be allotted.
Alternately, it will also be effective if a reduction of marks is found in revaluation. However, students will also have to give an affidavit stating that results of revaluation will not be challenged in any Indian Court.
