National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 has also had its share controversies and complaints by the candidates of the year who have sat for the entrance examination for admission into the MBBS and BDS courses.
While the debate over the quality of test papers and syllabus’ scope is still on, the controversies have also decisions were taken on the dress code.
According to Times of India news it has been brought forth that eight confusing questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections. It is said that while some questions had two correct answers, some questions did not have a single correct answer. All three subjects had these problems.
As per Indian Express News, Tamil Nadu who students travelling outside state for NEET exams to get financial assistance. It’s very bad that CBSE did not provide any information to the students appearing in the NEET exams that they have to appear outside the state, even though there are 5,000 students from Tamil Nadu. Government has announced financial assistance for them,” said the Tamil Nadu Minister on the same. It is said that CBSE which issued admit cards to Tamil Nadu students allocated the examination centres in states like Kerala, Karnataka and Rajasthan.
As per HT news The Delhi high court on Thursday ruled that Sikh candidates should be allowed to wear or carry ‘kara’ (iron bracelet) and ‘kripan’ (dagger) while appearing for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET UG), 2018. However, the court had put a condition that the Sikh candidates will have to report at least an hour prior to the normal reporting time for the screening and other security matter.
