e41f61f8Due to no clarity over the medical seats, medical aspirants eligible for them, through the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2016, are being forced to take up engineering.

Students aspiring for medical stream are forced towards engineering

The Engineering CET took place on 4th May to 6th May 2016 and the Medical CET took place on 4th may and 5th May 2016.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has started mock option for the entry of students to choose from under-graduate professional courses for the current academic year from Tuesday and the real option entry will begin on June 23. As the seat matrix for medical courses is not yet finalised, KEA has not even given practice option entry to students for medical and dental courses. The mock option entry which was supposed to open by 4pm on Monday got delayed due to non-availability of seat matrix for engineering courses.

The Engineering CET took place on 4th May to 6th May 2016 and the Medical CET took place on 4th May and 5th May.
