The Karnataka Examination Authority ( KEA ) has started the extended third round online allotment of 12 dental and 115 MBBS seats that could not be filled up under the all-India quota during the previous allotments.
The KEA kick started this fresh online seat allotment session earlier this week on Wednesday. All the 127 seats will be offered alongside the 230 dental and 18 medical seats that were either not reported to colleges or cancelled after the completion of the previous online allotment on Aug 20, 2014.
Candidates that have been allotted medical ranks in CET 2014 can have their shot at this on-going seat allotment. All they have to do is enter the options afresh and follow the instructions provided. However, those students who were selected for dental or medical seats in the previous allotments but did not pay the required fees or failed to report on time, won’t be eligible to attend this new round.
Meanwhile, the AYUSH seats that remained vacant will be assigned for Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISMH) rank holders in the CET.
