Jawaharlal Nehru University conducts the Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination (JNU CEEB) for admission to M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Agri.)/M V SC (Biotechnology) and M. Tech (Biotechnology) programmes in the participating universities.
The term cut off means the Benchmark or Threshold for measuring any criteria or aspect. JNU Cutoff is the minimum marks required to be secured by candidates in JNU CBEE for the M.Sc. Biotechnology programmes.
This year the JNU CEEB entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 19, 2017 and the results will be declared in the second or third week of June. The cut offs are declared after the declaration of results of CBEE in June.
The cut offs for JNU CEEB entrance exam is not fixed before the conduct of exam. Cut offs are always adjusted according to the availability of seats, difficulty level of the test and the performance of the candidates in the examination. If the candidates perform well and score high in the entrance exam then cut off goes high while if the candidates perform bad and score low then the cut off goes lower. Cut off list is a measure of mere satisfaction.
