JEE main results 2017 declared– See who topped and what newspapers says

The Central Board of Secondary Education had declared the JEE main 2017 results on its official website on Thursday. Kalpit Veerval from Udaipur topped the exam with 100 percent score in JEE main. Kalpit scored 360 out of 360 marks in the examination.
 
Over 39,000 students from Rajasthan’s Kota have cleared the JEE mains who studied in the coaching institutes at Kota as reported by the Hindustan Times and 48 of them are in the top 100 in All India ranking. Last year 35,000 candidates from Kota cleared the JEE advance.
 
Another boy Rohan Gupta from Lucknow from a family of engineers secured the All India Rank – 43 and topped in Uttar Pradesh. Rohan scored 328 marks out of 360 as reported by the Times of India. Rohan is a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
 
Among the girls, Vrunda Rathi from Nashik topped the JEE mains with All India Rank -71 and scored 312 out of 360 marks. Vrunda aims to get admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru to pursue research as reported by Indian Express and Hindustan times. Vrunda is a student of Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray Arts‚ Science and Commerce College in Nashik.
 
Another student Vedant Raval from Maninagar, Gujarat who secured All India Rank -4 is a topper in JEE main in Gujarat state. Vedant scored 345 marks out of 360 in the JEE Main exam 2017. Vedant has been a topper in his class and he had scored full marks in mathematics in Class Xth examination as told by Times of India.
 
A student from Hyderabad, Vabirisetti Mohan Abhyas who is the son of samosa seller secured All India Rank -6 in JEE main 2017. Vabirisetti Mohan is among 30 candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who are among the top 100 scorers in JEE main 2017 as reported by india.com. Vabirisetti Mohan’s father sells samosas (snacks) at a local stall in Hyderabad.
 
Two students Rohan Bansal and Kanav Jain from Ludhiana bagged the 155 and 167 All India Ranks in JEE main 2017. Both the students took coaching from a coaching instituted located in Dugri Ludhiana. Rohan scored 312 out of 360 marks and wants to take admission in IIT Mumbai. Kanav, a student of Sat Paul Mittal School scored 311 marks out of 360 and aims to become a scientist as told by Hindustan times.
 
Four students from Tricity are among the top 100 scorers in JEE main 2017. Shashij Gupta from Shri Guru Gobing Collegiate Public School secured AIR -31, Rushil Gupta from the same school secured AIR – 39, Sarvesh Mehtani from bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula secured AIR- 55 and Uddhav Aggarwal from Shri Guru Gobing Collegiate Public School secured AIR -75. All the four students from Tricity aims to pursue Computer science and engineering from IIT Bombay.
 
Candidates who qualified JEE main are eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced 2017 for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in Indian Institutes of technology, Indian institute of Science, Bengaluru and Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
