CBSE has released the JEE Main 2014 OMR answer sheets on its official website for its candidates who had appeared for the examination on April 06, 2014. Candidates who had appeared for the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) for 2014’s paper and pen based examination can now visit the www.cbse.nic.in and www.jeemain.nic.in and have a look at the scanned images and recorded responses of their attempts.
The OMR answer sheets will only be available till April 28, 2014 till 2.00PM. All the candidate needs to do is visit the official website and log in with their existing Application Number and Roll Number that was given to them at the time of application, along with their date of birth and security pin generated during application process to the server to see their OMR answer sheets.
In case of any discrepancies, the candidates have the liberty and right to challenge the board. Any complaints pertaining to their OMR sheets will only be accepted online along with scanned images of their sheet. The complaint will be lodged through a link available on the website but has to be submitted latest by 2.00PM on April 28. Candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000 per recorded response challenged and payment can be done by Credit/Debit Card or e-challan only. Do note that if the correction is made and the fault is accepted by the board then the fee made for the correction will be refunded.
JEE (Mains) was conducted to test the eligibility of candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions in India. The paper had begun on April 06 and came to an end on April 19.
