IIT Bombay has set the final date for JEE Advanced 2015 on May 24, 2015 (Sunday). The IIT JEE (Advanced) will be conducted for paper I and II at 09:00 to 12:00 IST and 14:00 to 17:00 IST respectively.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common entrance examination conducted in order to provide admission in various engineering courses. The prestigious entrance exam is conducted into two parts, JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced. Candidates who clear IIT-JEE main examination are eligible to appear for IIT-JEE advance which provides and entry to IITs and institutions alike.
The examination is conducted jointly by IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay. Aspirants can appear for JEE advance exam for a maximum of two consecutive years and not more than that. The new relaxation allows more students to participate in the examination and increase their chances of admission to pioneer engineering colleges.
Although the final date for the examination has been set, there is a tentative schedule for the admission dates and schedule. An announcement on the official website regarding the JEE Advanced 2015 Examination Schedule is expected to be released somewhere between September 15 – 30, 2014
