The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISEC) has rescheduled the ICSC and ISC board exam dates for class 10 and class 12. The exams have been delayed and rescheduled in view of the assembly elections in the states of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand.
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ISCE) board class 10 exams will commence from March 10 and will continue up to April 21, 2017. The exams were earlier scheduled to start on February 27 which are now delayed by 11 days.
Similarly, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Board Class 12 exams will commence on January 30 and will continue up to April 26, 2017. Earlier the exams were scheduled to start on February 6.
The Central Board of Secondary Examinations (CBSE) has also rescheduled the class 10 and class 12 board exams due to the upcoming assembly elections in five states. The CBSE board exams for class 10 and class 12 are going to commence on March 9.
The CBSE, ISCE and ISC board examinations have been rescheduled due to the upcoming assembly elections in the five states – Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand. The candidates will now get more time for the preparation of board exams.
A total of 1,76,327 candidates have registered for ICSE examinations and 74,544 for the ISC examinations.
