GATE 2017 Admit card released: Download Now

 

IIT Roorkee has released the GATE 2017 admit card on their official website.  Candidates who have successfully submitted their application for GATE 2017 can download their admit card from the official website. The GATE admit card 2017 will not be sent through post or email. Candidates must download it from the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) window till February 12, 2017.

 

Applicants must bring the colored printout of the admit card along with an identification card whose number has been given in the GATE application form. Candidates can check below the details on how to download GATE admit card.

 

Steps to download the admit card:

  1. Visit the official website of GATE
  2. Click on the link given for downloading admit card
  3. Enter the GATE enrollment ID, password and captcha
  4. Click on the Submit button
  5. The admit card will be displayed on the screen
  6. Save a copy of the admit card and take a colored print out of the same

Photo Identification proof required for GATE 2017

 

Candidates must bring the photo identification proof to the examination centre with the admit card:

  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Voter ID
  • Aadhaar UID
  • Valid College ID
  • Employee identification issued by concerned companies
  • Driving License

 

For International candidates:

  • Passport
  • Government issued ID/College ID/
  • Employee ID issued by concerned authority

 

Candidates can download the admit card from January 4 to February 12, 2017. The GATE 2017 examination is scheduled on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. The results will be announced on March 27, 2017. GATE is a national level online exam for admission to postgraduate programmes of engineering and technology in IITs, NITs and other leading institutes in India. The GATE scores are also considered by the Public and Private Sector Undertakings such as IOCL, ONGC, BHEL, NTPC and BPCL for recruitment of employees.
