GATE 2015 candidates who have an enrollment ID can now complete the application submission process and the payment till 11:55 PM on October 20, 2014.

Earlier the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for 2015, which is to be conducted in January and February next year, had extended its online registration from October 01 to October 14 keeping in mind the flood situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
After 20th October 2014, neither online application can be submitted, nor can any payment be made. Also, on making the payment, some tome will be taken before the payment is materialized and appear in the GATE application.
This year’s GATE will be organized and conducted by IIT Kanpur. IIT-K on their website for GATE 2015 and official notification mentioned that owing to the devastating flood situation in the areas of Jammu and Kashmir, the last date for the GATE 2015 on-line application submission has been extended. The validity of the GATE score is three years, after the announcement of result.
1) Examinations for all the 22 papers will be conducted by an online Computer Based Test (CBT). The online examination paper will contain some questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using the virtual keypad
2) Biometric information (Photograph and Fingerprints) for randomly selected candidates may be captured before the start of the exam
3) GATE 2015 examinations will be held during forenoon and afternoon sessions on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) between January 31, 2015 and February 14, 2015 Examination for some of the papers in GATE 2015 will be held in multiple sessions.
