Elections force School Boards to reschedule Class 10, Class 12 Board Exams

 

CBSE working to avoid conflict in exam and poll dates: ICSE and ISC exams rescheduled

 

CBSE to reschedule the class 10 and class 12 exams

The Central Board of secondary Education is working to avoid a clash of the dates of class 10th and class 12th examinations.  The ICSE and ISC board exams will also be rescheduled to avoid a clash of dates.

 

CBSE board is going over the schedule for voting in five states Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur. The board is also going to declare the exam schedule for class 10th and class 12th.

 

Earlier, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) said that the Class 10th and Class 12th board exams will be rescheduled as various exam dates are clashing with the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

 

The ISC (Indian School Certificate) and ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) exams which were to start from February 6 and February 27 respectively, will be rescheduled and the revised dates will be announced in the next 10 days.

 

The Election Commission announced that the assembly elections in the northern state will start from February 11 and will be held in seven phases.
