The exam will be administered by the JNTU Hyderabad while N.V Ramana Rao has been appointed the Convener.
Also, odds are high that starting from 2015, the test will be conducted online on the lines of BITSAT and CAT. Prof. Reddy also hinted that efforts to turn EAMCET into an online entrance test were on. He also made it clear that students will be allotted sufficient time before any concrete decision is taken.
According to experts, switching it to an online test will significantly lower administrative and financial burden.
For deciding on crucial issues such as feasibility, connectivity and selection of centers, a committee will soon be formed. Meanwhile, some experts are skeptic about the practical aspects associated with turning EAMCET into an online test considering that power shortage is a massive problem in the greater part of rural India.

The exam will be conducted on May 23 whereas the notification will be made available on February 14.
