Delhi University not to conduct Entrance Exam for UG admissions

Delhi University denies entrance exam proposal for UG admissions

The Delhi University has notified the HRD ministry that admissions to undergraduate courses will be conducted through the old cut off system.  The university has scrapped a proposal of introducing entrance exams for conducting undergraduate admissions.
Earlier, the Delhi University Standing Committee on Admissions was considering conducting the admission to undergraduate courses on the basis of entrance test instead of old cut off based method. However, the university has decided to continue with the cut-off based system.
The admissions to professional courses like Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor in Multimedia and Mass Communication, Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, BMS, BBE, BBA, BTech, BA Humanities and Social Sciences will be made through entrance test. The admission to all other programmes will be made on the basis of cut-off system.
Delhi University has made the admission process complete online.
