CTET 2018: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 on its official website, https://www.ctet.nic.in. CBSE will conduct the CTET 2018 on 9th December 2018 in 92 cities across the country.
According to Hindustan Times, the exam was earlier scheduled to be held on 16th September but due to delay in start of application process the dates for the exam were changed.
The online Registration process started from 1st August and is over on 27th August, 2018. The last day for submission of fee for CTET 2018 is 30th August till 3:30 pm. The final verification of payment of fee can be done till 4th September.
The correction process for application will start from 6th September 2018. The Candidates can make changes if any to their application form from 6th to 15th September 2018.
CTET 2018 will have two papers. Paper I is for Primary Teachers and Paper II is for Elementary Teachers. Paper II will be conducted in the morning session from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and paper I will be conducted in the afternoon session from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
A person who scores 60 per cent or more in the exam will be considered as TET pass. The validity of CTET qualifying certificate will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result.
