The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the answer keys for National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) January 2017. CBSE has made the answer keys available on its official website. The examination was conducted by the CBSE on January 22, 2017 in which 7.94 lakh candidates appeared out of which 4500 took the yoga test.
Candidates can check the answer keys and raise objections till May 8. Candidates who want to raise objections can apply online and submit Rs 1000 through debit card/credit card. The fees will be refunded if the objections are accepted by CBSE. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates should pay the fee through debit card/credit card.
– Visit the CBSE official website (cbsenet.nic.in)
– On the bottom of the page, click on the link “View Challenge Answer Key”
– Enter your application number and password to login.
– Take print out of images of OMR sheets, recorded responses, answer keys and challenges submitted by them for future reference.
CBSE conducts the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for the grant of Junior Research Fellowship and to determine the eligibility for lectureship for the appointment of assistant professors in universities and colleges.
Earlier CBSE had expressed its inability to conduct the NET exam due to the overload of other exams like National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Central Teachers’ Eligibility Test, JEE-Main and the board exams for affiliated schools. However, UGC has confirmed that CBSE will continue to conduct the NET exam till further notice.
