CBSE starts online registration for class 9 and 10

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) opened a portal for the students of Class 9 and 11of the affiliated schools for online registration. This new online registration window will be starting on the official website of the board www.cbse.nic.in. The examinations for class 9 will be conducted internally i.e., by the school itself.

On the other hand, examination for class 10 will be conducted by the board.
The CBSE is an independent organization that works under the Union Ministry of Human Resources (HRD).

According to the notification issued by the board, for all the schools that are affiliated to the board, it is mandatory to register them before the online submission begins. The Affiliation Number will be used as the user ID. The password is already available to them. If yours is a newly affiliated school, you can contact your respective CBSE Regional Office and get your password.

All the schools are advised to change the password after they have received the receipt of the password. It is also advised to keep that password confidential. If you face any difficulty, contact the Regional office. You can find the contact details in the annexure.

Also, all the schools have to mention the number of sections of class 9 and 11for which registration has to be done. All the information should be filled carefully as once the registration is complete, you won’t be allowed to go back and change the section. The number of the section will be automatically multiplied by 40. Once this is complete, schools can start filling the details of the candidates.

All the examinations for class 9 will be conducted by the school itself and all the students will receive their mark sheet from the school. CBSE will conduct the Class 10 examination. All the internal assessment marks will be collected online by the board.
