The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Sept 2016 exam. Candidates can check the results on CTETs official website. The CTET examination was conducted by CBSE on Sept 18, at 851 centres across 91 cities in India and abroad. A total of 6,53,156 candidates registered for the exam.
The detailed mark sheet and certificate of the candidates who qualified the CTET exam will be dispatched shortly. Here are the steps to check the CTET results:
1) Visit the CTET’s official website
2) At the bottom of the page click on link ‘Result of CTET -Sep 2016’
3) Enter roll number on the login page and submit
4) Your result will be displayed on screen
5) Candidates should take a print-out for future reference

CTET scores are accepted by the schools of central government (Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools which are under the administrative control of Union territories of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
The CTET scores are also accepted by the unaided private schools. The schools owned and managed by the state government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the state government. However, the CTET scores can also be considered y the states if a state government decides not to conduct the state TET.
