Candidates can now download their admit card for the Central Board of Secondary Education Class X Optional Proficiency Test for 2014. The candidate needs to login in to the official CBSE website for downloading the CBSE Class X Optional Proficiency Test 2014 admit card. In order to do so they would require their User ID/Affiliation number and password, this should be the same as the one used for online data submission.
The CBSE Optional Proficiency Test for Class X will begin from April 21 and end on April 25 for the 2014 session. This Optional Proficiency Test will be conducted so as to assist the students process the subjects they have an aptitude for and by this helping them make a decision of the subject to choose after Class X.
The primary objective behind this optional proficiency test, according to the Board, is to include bench-marking of skills and higher mental abilities of students, thereby motivating them for academic improvements in their respective subjects. The proficiency test will also help schools to learn more about their students, which in turn could be immensely helpful for smooth execution of crucial operations such as planning, setting goals and priorities, institutional improvement, and so on.
The test will be held in all of the five primary subjects studied by students of class X. This essentially means that there will be one separate test for each individual subject.
