CBSE Board Exam 2019 – The Central Board of Secondary Education in a press release available with NDTV stated that the exam for Skill Education (Vocational) and related subjects of Classes 10 and 12 will be held in second half of February 2019. However the core Academic subjects such as Languages, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Accountancy, Geography etc., will be continued to be held in the month of March at the external examinations centres fixed by the board.
According to the Press released by CBSE there are 40 Skill Education (Vocational) subjects being offered in class 12 and 15 in class 10. There are certain other related subjects such as Typography and Computer Applications (English), Web applications, Graphics, Office Communication, etc. will also be included in February exams as these subjects have larger practical component and shorter theory papers.
The Board decision has been taken in pursuance of a court order dated July 11, 2018. The Delhi High Court has directed CBSE and Delhi University to that the result of CBSE, including results of re-evaluation “are taken into account whilst determining the cut-off date for admission to colleges of the University of Delhi”. The HRD Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekar, had directed CBSE and Delhi University to hold consultations, and to make efforts in this direction.

With slight advancement of datasheet, the board can release the main and re-evaluation results slightly earlier compared to earlier years, the board said in a press release.
As per the notification the subjects for which the exams will be held in February and in March will be notified on the CBSE website next week.
