The result of the first round of seat allotment for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 has been published by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The first round of allotment is for those candidates who had cracked NEET 2016 and appeared for the first round of counselling held earlier this month. They can get an update on their status by visiting the official website.
Those who are happy with the allotment and want to take admission can report to their allotted colleges between August 29 and September 3.
NEET 2016 was conducted by the CBSE for admission to undergraduate medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) programs in colleges run with the approval of the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the guidance of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Step#1: Log on to the website, www.mcc.nic.in
Step#2: Select “UG Medical Counselling” from the list of available options.
Step#3: Under the “online services” section toward the left of the page, click on the link “result round 1”.
Step#4: Enter all required details such as your roll number in the provided field and then click on “submit”.
Step#5: Your results will now be displayed on the screen which you can download or take a print out for future reference.
