Results for the Common Aptitude Test CAT 2014 are declared. Candidates who appeared for CAT 2014 on November 16 and 22, 2014 can check their results here.
Out of approx 1.75 lakh CAT 2014 takers, 16 students have scored 100 percentile while several candidates scored 99.99 percentile in the CAT 2014 exam. Among the perfect 100 percentile scorer, only one girl could get space in the set.
Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for admissions to Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). CAT act as gateway to Indian Institutes of Management.
The IIMs are expected to come out with the first short list for Admission 2015 by the first week of January 2015.
Successful candidates can download their CAT 2014 score card from the official site of CAT 2014 iimcat.ac.in. Score card will remain valid till December 31, 2015. Scores of CAT 2014 candidates will also be made available till December 31, 2015.
The Indian Institutes of Management conducted CAT 2014 for admission to various Management Programmes of IIMs. Apart from the Indian Institutes of Management, over 50 other management institute use the CAT score for shorting candidates.
MBA aspirants saw several changes in the test pattern which were introduced by the IIMs this year for CAT 2014. This year there were 50 questions in each section–Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning. The duration of the exam was increased to 170 minutes from 140 minutes. Following the modification, students found the paper easier than previous years and more candidates attempted over half the questions, without fearing for negative marking.
