The results of the Andhra Pradesh Research common Entrance Test (APRCET) 2018 have been announced by the HRD Minister of the state, Ganta Srinivasa Rao. All candidates who have appeared for the AP RCET 2018 exam can check their results at the official website sche.ap.gov.in. Of the total 20,458 candidates who appeared for the test, only 1,116 qualified for interviews for PhD and M Phil programs in 14 universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The qualifying mark was reduced by 5 percentage points due to low pass percentage, informed Mr. Roa. Before the qualifying marks was 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category candidates.
The APSCHE conducted the APRCET 2018 exam for the first time this year for candidates who are interested in applying for MPhil and PhD courses at various universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The universities have been asked to complete the interviews on or before October 30 and admission process by November 20, 2018
According to Mr. Rao, “There are more than 2,000 PhD and MPhil seats available in all these varsities through this test.”
