Application process starts for NDA and NA Examination (I) 2015

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting NDA and NA Examination (I) 2015 (National Defence Academy and Naval Academy) for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 135th Course and for the 97th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from January 02, 2016.

 

Applications can be filled online from December 27, 2014. The last date to submit the application is January 23, 2015 till 11.59pm. Candidates can apply at official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in.

The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies.

Army: 208 posts

Navy: 42posts

Air Force: 70posts

Naval Academy [10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 55posts

Total: 375 Posts

To be eligible for Army Wing of National Defence Academy, candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university. To be eligible for Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, Candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates currently appearing in class 12 or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 02, 1996 and not later than July 01, 1999 are eligible to apply.

NDA and NA exam (I) 2015 will be conducted on April 19, 2015.

The written exam pattern for the NDA and NA exam (I) 2015 will include objective type question papers. Candidates should note that there will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of minimum qualifying marks in the written examination conducted by the UPSC. Selected candidates will appear before a Services Selection Board (SSB) for Intelligence and Personality Test for admission.
