47.68 Percent seats Vacant in AICTE approved Engineering Colleges – HRD

Engineering Career Option losing its Charm- That is what  the latest trends say. HRD minister of State, Satyapal Singh, informed Lok Sabha that about 48 percent of seats are vacant in Engineering colleges across the country. He also informed that AICTE had received 239 applications from Engineering and Techniczal Institutes for closure, 51 of them were granted approval.
