Over 13 lakh students will appear for CBSE Class X Exam 2015

Approximately 13,73,853 students across India will be appearing in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X board exams this year – the figure being 3.37 per cent higher compared to where it stood last year.

In 2014, approximately 13,28,970 students appeared in the class X exam.

Both class X and XII board exams are scheduled to start from March 02, 2015. Amongst those appearing in the class X boards, approximately 8,17,941 are boys compared to 5,55,912 girls.

Meanwhile, in case of class XII, approximately 10,40,368 students will be appearing in the exam of who, 6,07,383 are boys. The percentage of the total number of students appearing in the exam compared to last year stands at almost 1.01.

Value Based Questions of up to 3 – 5 marks will be included in all major subjects for both Class X and XII exams this year. The questions will be basically based on content and analyzed on the basis of values they reflect.
