DRDO Scholarship 2022 Dates
- Registrations will start from: 10th February 2022 onwards
- Closing date: 31st March 2022
Scholarship Amount
- Undergraduate* (BE/ B.TECH/ B.Sc. Engg) : Rs.120000 / year or annual fees whichever is less for a maximum period of four years.
- Post Graduate (ME/ M.TECH/ M.Sc Engg) : Rs.15500/- per month subject to Rs.186000/- per year for a maximum period of two years.
DRDO Scholarship 2022 Eligibility Criteria 2022
For Undergraduate* (BE/ B.TECH/ B.Sc. Engg)
- Candidate must be an Indian National.
- Candidates should have got admission in the 1st year of the current academic year (2021-22) to the relevant B.E./ B. Tech./B.Sc Engg. course.
- Candidate should have cleared JEE (Main).
- Candidates should have a valid JEE(Main) score.
For Post Graduate (ME/ M.TECH/ M.Sc Engg)
- Candidate must be an Indian National.
- Candidates should have secured admission in the 1st year of the current academic year (2021-22) to the relevant ME/M.TECH / M.Sc Engg course.
- Candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam (graduation level: BE/B Tech/B Engg. or equivalent) for getting admission to the subject course as per the guidelines set by AICTE/MHRD. In cases where the conversion formula is not obtainable, CGPA/CPI of 6.75 (for a 10 point
- scale) will be taken as equivalent to 60%, as per AICTE guidelines.
- Candidates should have a valid GATE (General Aptitude Test in Engineering) score.
- Candidates should be in possession of Essential Qualifications and should have JEE (Main) and GATE valid score” for B.Tech and M.Tech respectively. The prescribed Essential Qualifications are bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not guarantee the scholarship.
DRDO Scholarship 2022 Application Process 2022
- The eligible candidates are required to follow certain guidelines in order to register for the DRDO scholarship 2022 for girls, and some of them are as follows:
- The Indian women with the desired eligibility need to first register with the official RAC website https://rac.gov.in
- Step 1 : The filling of Biodata. Candidates need to note that the information furnished will be verified
- Step 2 : Is uploading photographs and relevant documents. Candidates would be required to scan the relevant certificates to convert them into separate PDF or JPG image files and the size of an individual file should not exceed 500Kb. Furthermore, the PDF so created must not be password protected.
Selection Process
- First year Undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech./BSc. Engg.) scholarship (for 4-yr full time course) will be based on the merit of JEE (Main). Candidates without a valid JEE (Main) score will not be considered.
- First year Post graduate (M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. Engg.) scholarship (for 2 yr full time course) will be based on the valid GATE score on merit basis. The candidates without a valid GATE score will not be considered.
