APDMC Madhya Pradesh All India Common Entrance Test for MBBS, BDS, BPT, BOT, B.Sc (N)/Other Allied Paramedical Courses 2018

The Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh, the APDMCMP is conducting the DMAT UG 2016. APDMC Madhya Pradesh invites applications from the eligibile candidates for "All India Common Entrance Test" for admission to MBBS, BDS, BPT, BOT, B.Sc Nursing and Other Allied Paramedical Courses for the academic session 2018-19

  7. Index institute of Dental Sciences, Indore

Note: Some new colleges are likely to get permission from MCI/Govt. of India whose names will be added when permission is granted

 

Important Dates

Last Date for Receiving Complete Application Forms at D-MAT Office: 2nd week of May 2018 Last Date with Late Fee of Rs.500/-:3rd week of May 2016

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Educational Qualification for MBBS/BDS Courses:

  • The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually and have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and must have passed in English also (OR)
  • Those who have passed any equivalent or higher exam with the aforesaid subjects from any other recognized Board, University with the percentage of marks as mentioned above (OR)
  • Any other qualification recognized by Govt. of India/Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses

Minimum Educational Qualification for BPT/BOT/B.Sc Nursing/Other Allied Paramedical Courses:

  • The candidates should have passed the qualifying Exam of 10+2 from Board Secondary Education MP or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subject individually are eligible for admission. For Admission to B.Sc Nursing Courses Candidate must have passed in English also (OR)
  • Those who have passed any equivalent or higher exam with above said subjects from other recognized Board/University (OR)
  • Any other qualification recognized by relevant Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to above courses

 

Age Limit

  • No candidates shall be admitted to a Medical/Dental College/BPT/B.Sc Nursing and other Allied Para Medical Courses until he/she completed or will complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2018

 

Mode of Selection

  • On the basis of the marks obtained by candidates in the DMAT merit list will be prepared depending upon number of (APDMC Quota) sanctioned seats. Remaining candidate‚Äôs upto a fixed number will be kept in the waiting list

 

Merit criteria in case of candidates with equal marks:

  • Merit order of candidates having secured equal total marks will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in individual subject arranged in order of their importance as follows:
    • 1st - Zoology
    • 2nd - Botany
    • 3rd - Chemisty
    • 4th - Physics
  • There after the person elder in age will be preferred

 

Exam Pattern

  • The DMAT-2018 will consist of one common question paper of 3 hours duration in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) consisting of 200 multiple choice questions
  • All questions are compulsory hence, the candidates is expected to attempt all the questions. Out of four bubbles provided against each question on the answer sheet, the candidates will have to darken only one bubble by using Black Ball Point Pen
  • For each correct answer one mark will be awarded
  • There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers, scratching, overwritting, tick marks, erasers, whiteners and multiple answers and use of any pencil, pen
  • Duration of exam will be of 3 hours; the medium of the test shall be English and Hindi only

 

Exam Centres

  • Test will be conducted at the following centres: Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Delhi, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Raipur and Lucknow

 

Application Form

  • Application Forms and Information Brochures of DMAT-2016 will be available at all the participating Colleges and APDMC Office on payment of Rs.3000/- by cash or through Demand Draft in favour of APDMC payable at Bhopal. No Domicile is required any Indian Citizen can apply
  • Application Forms will also be available from DMAT Office and participating Colleges by post for an additional amount of Rs.200/- as postal charges
  • Candidates have to submit Demand Draft of Rs.3000/- in favour of APDMC, Bhopal. Application Form can also be downloaded from our website www.apdmcmp.com
  • Candidates applying for BPT/BOT/B.Sc Nursing & Other Para Medical Courses are not required to submit exam fee alongwith the application. Candidates who have downloaded Application Form for these courses from website are required to send Bank Draft of Rs.1500/- only with Application Form

 

Admit Card

  • Admit Card of candidates shall be uploaded on our website www.apdmcmp.com one week before the Exam. No candidates will be allowed to appear for unless he/she holds vaild admit card issued by the Controller of Exam, DMAT-2018
  • Candidate is required to preserve the Admit Card for all future reference and correspondence
