Kerala PG Entrance Exam for MD Ayurveda 2016

Applications are invited for the Entrance Examinations for admission to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Ayurveda for the year 2016-17 in Govt. Ayurveda Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Tripunithura, Kannur, VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottackal, Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur and at Parassinikadavu Ayurveda College, Kannur in the following specialties:

Eligibility Criteria for Kerala PG Ayurveda Entrance Exam 2016

Nativity: The candidate should be an Indian Citizen. Candidates claiming Community or Category reservation should produce documents for Kerala origin along with their Nationality proof

Age: Candidate should not be over 45 years of age as on 31st July 2016, subject to relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST candidates and Service Quota candidates

Academic Eligibility

Candidates should have passed the BAM/Ayurvedacharya/BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS Degree of Universities of Kerala or its equivalent degree recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject

However, exemption for minimum marks prescribed for admission for MD (Ay) is granted to the students who have passed the BAMS/BAM examination before 1995 from the Universities of Kerala without 50% of marks for theory and practical

Selection Procedure for Kerala PG Ayurveda Admission 2016

Selection of candidates except for the seats reserved under Service Quota for Teaching Staff of Government and Govt. Aided Ayurveda Colleges in the State, Medical Officers of the Dept. of ISM and the candidate sponsored by the Lakshadweep Administration will be made based on the Entrance Exam to be conducted by the CEE, Thiruvananthapuram

The entrance examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapurm on 01st October 2016 (Saturday); it will consist of Two Papers each of 2 hours duration and with 150 objective type (Multiple Choices) questions each



Application Form for Kerala PG Ayurveda Admission 2016

Prospectus and Online Application Form will be available from 29th August 2016 onwards in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in; the online application procedure is common for General and Service candidates

Candidates can apply online at the official www.cee.kerala.gov.in and pay the required fees at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan available with the print out

Candidates residing outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram

Application fee is Rs.1000/- for General/Service candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST Candidates

Application Cost: Rs.1000 (Rs.500 in case of SC/ST Students)

Admit Card

Candidates will have the position to download their Admit Card from the site www.cee.kerala.gov.in with effect from 22nd September 2016; admit card will not be sent to the candidates by post

Date of Entrance Exam will be conducted at Thiruvananthapurm on 01st October 2016 (Sat)
