Admission to Medical Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/Diploma) at Maharashtra State in Unaided Private /Deemed University & Minority Medical Colleges

Scope of NEET-PG 2017 for admission to postgraduate Medical courses for the academic sessions 2017-18, which will include the following:
I. All India 50% Quota Seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses
II. State Quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in Govt /Corporation Medical Colleges Situated in the State of Maharahtra
III. MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses Seats at All Unaided Private/ Deemed University and Minority Medical Colleges/Institutions situated in the State of Maharashtra

M.D.: Medicine, Skin & VD, Chest & TB, Psychiatry, Peadiatrics, Radiology, Anesthesia, Radiotherapy, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, P.S.M, Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Biochemistry, Transfusion Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Palliative Medicine, Nuclear Medicine

M.S.: Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, OBGY

Diploma: DVD, DPM, DCH, DMRT, DA, DMRD, DGO, DPH, DFM, DTCD, D.Ortho., DORL, D.Opthal., DCP (Patho), D.D. (Diabet)

PG Seat Distribution

The allocation of seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for academic year 2017-18 in various medical institutions/medical colleges under ambit of Post Graduate Medical Regulations shall be undertaken as per procedure prescribed in Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations published by MCI

In, Competent Authority, NEET-PG 2017, shall fill unaided Private institutions/Deemed University Colleges and the concerned Medical Colleges/Institutions shall fill Minority Medical Colleges 50% of the total seats through State quota and the remaining 50% of the seats

Eligibility Criteria

For NEET-PG 2017 for Medical Postgraduate Courses:
Candidate must be an Indian National

Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or valid passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as "Indian" shall constitute the proof of nationality. [Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) /Non Resident Indians (NRI) /Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible]

a) For Unaided Private and Minority Medical Postgraduate Courses: All candidates, who have passed final MBBS Exam form the college situated in Maharashtra and completed/completing one year internship training by 31st March 2017 from a recognized medical college (Annexure-F) included in the Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 are eligible

The Medical College should have been affiliated to Non-Agricultural Universities established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994 or the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Act, 1998 or Medical College affiliated to Deemed university as per UGC Act of 1956 under section 13/A, situated in Maharashtra

Either the candidate should have obtained registration from the MCI or Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) will be eligible for registration for NEET-PG 2017

b) For Admission to Postgraduate/Diploma Courses at Deemed University: For admissions to postgraduate/diploma courses at Deemed University colleges candidates who have passed final MBBS Exam from the MCI recognized Medical Colleges situated in India and completed/completing one year internship training by 31st March 2017 are eligible
Candidate who have passed MBBS examination from foreign University are not eligible for NEET-PG 2017 admission process

All Candidates desirous to take admission for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses under state quota in Unaided Private including Deemed University and Minority Colleges must have appeared for NEET-PG 2017 and declared eligible by National Board of Exams, New Delhi

Eligibility Criteria for in-Service Candidates:

In-Service Candidates Eligibility for In-service candidates will be as per criteria laid down by the Public Health Dept for M.M. & H.S. Medical Officer candidates and by commissioner of E.S.I.S. for E.S.I.S in-service candidates
For BMC In-Service Candidate eligibility criteria will be as per criteria let down by Municipal Commissioner/Director of Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation

Non-eligibility of Candidate:

The following candidates are not eligible for filling Preference form at NEET-PG 2017:

For admissions to Unaided Private/Minority Colleges (Excluding Deemed University admissions), Candidates who have passed Final MBBS Exam from institute located outside Maharashtra, except candidates who are Domicile of Maharashtra and selected under 15% AIPMT quota

Candidates who have not appeared for NEET-PG 2017 conducted by National Board of Exam New Delhi

Candidates who are not completing internship on or before 31st March 2017

Selection Process

The Competent Authority, NEET-PG 2017 shall issue Notice of Online /offline Preference Form Filling Process & Counseling on the website www.dmer.org and www.mahacet.org indicating the scheduled for preference form filling process to postgraduate courses under state quota

This Counseling process will be combining for admission to Government/Corporation/Unaided Private/Minority Institutions

On the basis of document verification a final state merit list will be prepared. Seat allocation shall be made centrally at a later date on the basis of NEET-PG 2017 Final State Merit List (SML) and preferences exercised by the candidate

Application form link will be displayed. Click on Application form link

Instructions page will be displayed. Carefully read the Instructions for filling online form (Annexure "G"); after reading Instructions, applicant has to click NEXT button to go to actual Online

Application form (Annexure “H” a specimen copy of online application form)

After submission of form Bank Challan will be displayed in two parts

Unique Application No (Username) along with details of non-refundable required fee Rs.3000/- will be available on Challan and same details will be mailed to the Candidate on his given Email ID

Schedule for Fee acceptance at SBI Bank through Computer Generated Challan: 30th January 2017 to 14th February 2017

Online Display provisional State Merit List by 20th February 2017

Preference Form Filling and Counselling: 04th April - 06th April 2017

First Selection List Announcement on 13th April 2017

Candidates in First List to Join by Date: 22nd April 2017

Academic Session Commencement: 02nd May 2017

Second, Third Round: Dates will be announced by Authorities
