  • Date of Opening Online Application Portal: 17th May 2019
  • Last Date of receiving forms for MCAT 2019: 23rd June 2019 (up to 5:00 pm)

Eligibility Criteria for Dibrugarh University BCA and MCA Admission 2019

For MCA (3 year Post Graduate Program)

  • Graduate in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks having Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2, wherein pass mark is a must. Candidate appearing in Bachelor’s Degree final examination whose results awaiting to be declared may also apply. Such candidates have to complete the Bachelor degree before the end semester examination of the 1st semester.
  • Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the candidates of reserved categories.

 

For BCA (3 years Graduate Degree Program)

  • Candidates having passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination securing minimum of 45% marks in aggregate with Mathematics / Commercial Arithmetic /Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2, wherein pass mark is a must. Such candidates have to complete the 10+2 before the end semester examination of the 1st semester.
  • Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the candidates of reserved categories.

Selection Process

For MCA Program

  • Candidates will have to appear in the MCA Common Admission Test (MCAT) to be held on 29th of June 2019 from 11.00 AM at the following Centers:
  • Centre for Computer Science and Applications, Dibrugarh University
  • NERIM, Guwahati
  • J.B. College, Jorhat
  • Candidates qualifying the MCAT shall be admitted to the programme solely from the merit list prepared from the MCAT results provided that the eligibility criteria prescribed above are fulfilled.

 

Pattern of the MCAT:

  • Subject-A: Mathematics – 30
  • Subject-B: Quantitative Aptitude – 25
  • Subject-C: Logical Reasoning – 25
  • Subject-D: English – 20
  • Total Duration / Timing for Candidates: 2 Hours

 

Note:

  • The question paper will be of multiple choice type
  • There will be no negative marks for wrong answers
  • The question paper will be set in English language only

 

For BCA Program

  • Candidates eligible for admission shall be selected on merit basis. The merit list will be displayed at the Office of Centre for Computer Science and Applications, D.U. and in the websites www.dibru.ac.in and www.ccsdu.in on 28th June 2019.

Dibrugarh University BCA and MCA Admission 2019 Application Process

  • The intending candidates need to apply online through the “Online Application Submission” portal of Dibrugarh University which is Available at www.dibru.online from 17th May 2019
  • The application fee of Rs.500/- needs to be paid at the time of applying online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking. On successful submission of the Application, an Acknowledgement Slip with “SUCCESS” status will be generated.
  • Candidates are advised to download and print the Acknowledgement Slip along with the submitted Application Form and Admit Card for future reference. A step-by-step instruction of the Application Process is available on the homepage of the “Online Application Submission” portal
