Punjab Technical University (PTU) announces BBA BCA MBA MCA Admissions 2015

Punjab Technical University (PTU) are invited for BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA and PGDCA for the academic session 2015 session subject described below:

  • Under Graduate Programme BBA and BCA (3 Year to 5 Year)
  • Post Graduate Programme  MBA, MCA (2 Year to 4 Year)
  • PGDCA (1 Year to 3 Years)

Eligibilty Criteria

BBA, BCA - Students who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council or Those who have passed their Matriculation exam AND have also passed 3 year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal

MBA - Students who have passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 year duration in any discipline from a UGC recognized University

MCA -Students who have passed any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year duration with Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics / Quantitative Techniques as Compulsory/ Optional/ Additional Paper as one of the subjects either at 10+2 or at graduation level or
Have passed BCA course of minimum 3 years duration from any UGC recognized University

PGDCA - Students who have passed any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from any UGC recognized University

Fee Structure

BBA, BCA Rs. 13,950/- Per Semester
MBA, MCA Rs. 15,950/- Per Semester
PGDCA - Rs. 12,950/- Per Semester

This amount includes Semester end Examination Fees of Rs. 900.00  or as revised from time-to-time

Admission Process

Entries in the Registration form shall be required to be filled only in English

Applications not filled correctly, completely and as per the instructions are liable to be rejected and fee forfeited

Payment of fee does not confirm grant of admission

Final admission would be granted by the University after verifying the Registration form and the uploaded documents

Payments would be accepted only through Online mode using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking
Applicants are required to read the Rules & Regulations provided on the website - www.edvantage.ptu.ac.in

Applicants will have to upload the scanned image of the required documents and photograph on the website. Applicant may do it on his/her own or take help from the Registration Center

The self-attested photocopies of the required documents have to be submitted at the selected Registration Center

How to Apply

Eligibility conditions of each course are mentioned in the prospectus and on the website.

It will be the responsibility of concerned student to ensure that he/she is eligible for the course they are taking admission in

All admissions will be ONLINE at the University’s website for Digital Learning Program and fill-in the Registration Form

After filling the Registration Form, the student is required to visit the selected Registration Centre along with the original and self-attested copies of the required documents

The Counselling will be held at the Registration Centres (RCs)

Upon verification by the Registration Centre of the documents and confirming student’s eligibility for the desired program, the student may login to the website with the login id and password provided to complete the Application Form. Scanned copy of the documents, along with a recent passport size photograph to be uploaded on the portal

The student selects the Study Centre that he/she would attend for all Contact programs

The student can then make the Payment online for the fee as per the course he/she is interested in taking admission

If at any stage, the documents submitted by the student are found to be incorrect and/or the student is found to be ineligible for the program in which the admission may have been granted, the admission shall stand cancelled. In such a case, the fee and any other charges paid by the student would be forfeited and no refunds would be permissible. The University may also take any other appropriate action as deemed necessary

Request for admission will not be entertained after the last date of admissions. However, the university may allow late admissions under exceptional circumstances. For the delay, if any, on part of the student in seeking admission, after the start of programme/ session, no compensation for the loss of any component shall be made by the university
