Geeta Institute of Law Admission 2017 (G-LAT Entrance Exam)

Geeta Institute of Law opens admission for BA LLB/LLB Programmes for 2017 session. The admissions will be made through an entrance test.

Geeta Institute of Law has a unique distinction of the best Law Institute in the state of Haryana offering B.A LL.B, Honors, a 5-year programme and LL.B, a 3-year programme. The Institute is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and approved by the Bar Council of India

No. of Seats

The total numbers of seats in BA LLB are 180. Out of which 75% seats will be filled by G-LAT (Geeta Law Admission Test). The selection shall be strictly on the basis of merit as determined by the entrance test and 25% seats will be filled by management quota

Eligibility Criteria

For Five year B.A LL.B (Hons) Programme
The candidates must have pass 10+2 examination or equivalent with not less than 45% aggregate marks (students passing out in 2016 can apply); the SC/ST candidates shall secure minimum of 40% in 10+2 or equivalent

The foreign National Candidates are exempted from taking the admission test

Admission will be done on merit basis i.e. their performance in G-LAT (Geeta Law Admission Test) conducted by Geeta Institute of Law and thereafter personal interview

Age Limit: Students must be 22 years (SC/ST/BC 23 years) on 01st July

For Three year LLB Programme

Candidates should be a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with not less than 45% aggregate marks (students graduating in 2016 can apply); 40% marks in Graduation for SC/ST and; admission will be done on the basis of their performance in interview

Selection Procedure

For B.A. LL.B.: Students for admission in BA LLB will be selected on the basis of their marks and their merit in G-LAT-2 conducted by Geeta Institute of Law and there after personal Interview

For LL.B.: For admission in LLB direct interview will be conducted and students will be selected on the basis of their Marks in qualifying examination and performance in personal interview

Apply Geeta Institute of Law on the prescribed GGI/GIL application form by giving Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- in favour of Geeta Institute of Law payable at Panipat and send it to the address "Geeta Institute of Law, G.T. Road, Village Karhans, Samalkha, Panipat", (Haryana)
