Maharashtra MAH MPEd CET for MPEd Admission 2018 – Notification

 

M.P.Ed. (2 Year Course) (Regular, Full Time) 2018-18

MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET-2018 - Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test, Cell Competent Authority shall conduct the MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET-2018 for the admission to the First Year of the Two Year Full Time Professional Course in Physical Education leading to Master of Physical Education for the Academic Year 2018-19

Govt. of Maharashtra

  • The admissions to the following Institutes will be based on the Score of MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET-2018 and Field Test provided these institutes are approved and recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and are affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State and recognized by NCTE (WRC):
  1. All Government Aided Colleges offering M.P.Ed Course
  2. All University Managed Colleges/ Institutes/Departments offering M.P.Ed Course
  3. All Un-aided Institutes, Unaided Minority Institutes offering M.P.Ed Course covered as per the Act
  4. Government aided Autonomous Colleges

 

Important Dates for MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET-2018

  • Online Registration for MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET-2018 through Computer connected to Internet on the Website: 18th April 2018 to 18th May 2018
  • Last Date to Apply: 18th May 2018
  • Issue of Hall Ticket through login of successfully registered candidates: 25th May 2018
  • Date of Online MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET-2018: 11th June 2018 (Monday)
  • Date of Field Test (Offline): 12th June 2018 and 13th June 2018
  • Declaration of Result of the MAH-M.P.Ed-CET 2018 on the Website: 25th June 2018

 

Eligibility for MAH-M.P.Ed.CET-2018

  • The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent with atleast 50% of Marks (49.50% and above to be considered as 50%) (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class category) (44.50% and above to be considered as 45%) or;
  • The candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with atleast 50% marks (49.50% and above to be considered as 50%) (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class category) (44.50% and above to be considered as 45%); or
  • Candidates who are appearing for the Qualifying Exam in the academic year 2017-2018 are also eligible to apply for CET/Entrance Exam. Such candidates will become eligible for admission only if they produce Marks Memo/ Degree Certificate of the Qualifying Exam and fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above while filling in the Admission Form in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) after qualifying the M.P.Ed. CET Exam 2018
  • All candidates including backward class candidates having Degree/Post Graduate Degree from Out of Maharashtra Universities will be considered as Open Category candidates

 

Age Criteria

  • There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-M.P.Ed. CET Examination in the Academic Year 2018-2019. The age will be calculated as on 01st July 2018

 

MAH-M.P.Ed. CET-2018 Schedule

  • MAH-M.P.Ed. CET-2018 shall be conducted only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions, if required. MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET-2018 will be conducted on Monday 11th June 2018. Candidates shall have to appear for the Online CET strictly as per the date and session
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Test in other than the allotted session, centre and venue. Field Test will be conducted on Tuesday 12th June 2018 and Wednesday 13th June 2018

 

Marking Scheme

  • The Online CET is comprising of one paper with five sections:
  • Foundation of Physical Education - 10 Questions & Total Marks - 10
  • Anatomy, Physiology and Health Education - 10 Questions & Total Marks - 10
  • Teaching Methodology - 10 Questions & Total Marks - 10
  • Officiating Coaching and Management in Physical Education - 10 Questions & Total Marks - 10
  • Tests, Measurements and Evaluation in Physical Education - 10 Questions & Total Marks - 10
  • Total - 50 No. of Questions & Total Marks - 50; 01 per question
  • The questions will be objective Multiple-Choice Questions with Four options
  • There is no Negative marking. The time allotted is One Hour (Sixty Minutes). Medium of Questions will be English, Marathi and Hindi

 

Test Centers for MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET 2018

  • MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET 2018 will be conducted online only at following selected cities in Maharashtra: Amravati, Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad and Solapur
  • The cities in which MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET 2018 will be conducted are designated as Centers for the CET.  Each Centre may have many Venues depending upon the number of candidates appearing at that Centre.
  • The revised schedule, if any, will be notified on the following websites www.mahacet.org / www.dhepune.gov.in/

 

Exam Fees

  • Application Form Processing Fees as stated below is to be paid through online system only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS; Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form Processing Fees
  • No other mode of payment shall be permitted
  • The fees is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances
  • For all Candidates from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Open Category candidates from Maharashtra State and J&K Migrant candidates - Rs. 1000/-*
  • For Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State of BC (SC, ST, VJ/DT (A), NT-1 (-B) NT-2 (-C), NT-3(-D), OBC/SBC Categories - Rs.500/-*

 

Application Process MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET 2018

  • In order to appear for MAH-M.P.Ed.-CET2018, the candidates are required to apply On-Line as per the detailed procedure/guidelines given below:
  • Before applying online, applicants should:
  • Candidates should go through the Information Brochure made available to them online and check for Eligibility criteria. Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guideline for Photograph and Signature Scan and Upload
  • Have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile No., which should be kept active till the completion of this Admission Process
  • Applicants are required to visit DHE’s website www.dhepune.gov.in or CET CELL’s website www.mahacet.org and open the given link
  • For filling the Online Application Form, they should click on the option "Apply Online" which will open a new screen

 

Hall Ticket

  • In the Information Brochure and latest Notifications /Notices published on the websites, the candidates will have to visit the www.dhepune.gov.in or www.mahacet.org website for downloading Hall Ticket for online Test
  • Intimations for downloading Hall Ticket will also be sent through Email/SMS
  • Candidates should keep their Emails and Mobile Phones active during the entire admission process. Candidates having Do Not Disturb mode active may not get SMS alerts
