Common Entrance Examination AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB is an entrance examination conducted by the Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI), for admission to 2 years MBA, MCA, M. Tech and M. Pharm Courses in the State of West Bengal at the Institutes mentioned below, through minority quota

About CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB

The prime objective of Common Entrance Examination (CEE) organised by Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI) is to conduct an entrance examination for students in the State and National level. Students of Sikh and Other Minority and Non-Minority in the State and National level may appear in the CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB examination. This examination will be conducted for admission in the first year of the following courses:

 

2 Years Full-Time MBA Course

 

3 Years Full-Time MCA Course

 

2 Years Full-Time M.TECH Course

 

2 Years Full-Time M.PHARM Course

The Entrance Exam CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB will be conducted as per GO by Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal for the admission to MBA or MCA or M.TECH or M.PHARM Courses, as applicable, in the session beginning 2017-18 wherein preference of admission shall be given to Sikh minority students

 

Students from any other religion /caste/ category, upon fulfilling necessary eligibility criteria, may fill up seats then left vacant

 

Eligibility

After examination or admission, or during any stage thereof, if it is found on scrutiny that an applicant is under age or otherwise ineligible, his/her application for admission will be cancelled outright even if he/she appeared in CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB and secured a position in the merit list

 

Permission to appear in CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB or securing a rank in the merit list on the basis of the performance in the said exam does not constitute a right/guarantee in favour of the candidate for his/her admission to any Eng/Tech or Pharmacy Course unless he/she has fulfilled all the prescribed requirements as specified below.

 

MCA Course

UGC and/or AICTE recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-years duration (as the case maybe) except BBA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduate level
Obtained 50% marks at graduation level

 

Candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) as mentioned above in the current year may also apply

 

MBA Course

The Minimum qualification for admission to MBA Programmes is a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Medical/Dental/Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final exam (Graduation) in the current year may also apply

 

M.Tech and M.Pharm Course(s)

 

M.Tech & M.Pharm in Electronics & Communication Eng (ECE) or Communication; M. Tech in Mobile Communication & Networking Technology (MCNT); M. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering:

 

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in ECE/AEIE/Control and Instrumentation Engineering or M.Sc. in Electronics/Physics (with electronics specialisation) or equivalent to B.E/B.Tech
M. Tech in Computer Science

 

Eligibility: B.E. /B. Tech in CSE/IT or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Computer Applications & Engineering /Mathematics (with Computer Science Specialisation), MCA (with BCA or B.Sc. with Mathematics compulsory and any of the others from Statistics, Physics, Electronics or Computer Science)
M. Tech in Automobile

 

Eligibility: B.E. /B. Tech in Automobile Engineering /ME/Production Engineering/Industrial Engineering /Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent

 

Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India

Questions will cover every subject, all questions will be of Multiple Choice type (MCQ-type) with four options against each question and the answer(s) to each of the questions has/have to be marked on the OMR Answer Sheet.

Application Procedure

AMPAI aims in creating a transparent, competitive examination and evaluation process for the selection of proficient candidates for the respective courses

 

Candidates seeking admission to the aforesaid institutions are advised to fill up the CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB application form through online or offline mode

 

A candidate may apply for CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB, in 2 ways:
EITHER a) Online OR b) Offline

 

Online Registration for Application to CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB:

Registration at CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB website: The candidate needs to login at www.ampai.in, go to "Apply Online" section and create his/her user id account by providing his/her name and email at the "New Online Registration" section

 

The candidate will receive an auto-generated unique password in the e-mail id so provided by him/her. Logging In with Unique Password

 

Candidate needs to check his/her e-mail id for the aforesaid auto-generated email containing the Unique Password to login

 

Applicants to fill up CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB may fill up the online application form and submit Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) as application fees via the online payment gateway at one sitting only during filling up of the online application form

 

Offline Registration for Application to CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS-2017-WB:

The candidate needs to visit www.ampai.in and download a pdf copy of the Application form

 

The candidate needs to take a printout of the downloaded form and fill up the necessary formats. Candidates can download the Application Form from www.ampai.in

 

Application Fee of Rs.200/- has to be paid by DD in favour of “Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes” or “AMPAI” payable at Kolkata

Issue of Admit Card

Admit Cards will be made available online from 28th July 2017 04.00 pm onwards from www.ampai.in

 

Please keep visiting the website. Candidates will be able to download their respective admit cards after providing their name, date of birth, user id (their email address) and password

 

Candidates must bring one copy of A4 size printout of their admit cards at the examination hall on 30th July 2017
