Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Common Entrance Test LPCET 2016

Online application for LPCET-2016 are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into one-year Language Panduit Training Courses (TPT/ HPT/) in Govt. IASEs/ CTEs and Private Language Panduit Training Colleges in the state to be conducted by Department. of School Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on 17th July 2016 in all 13 Districts in the State.

Important Dates

Notification for conduct of LPCET-2016: 01st July 2016

Payment of Application Fee through Online: 02nd July 2016

Submission of Application through Online with Payment of Fee: 02nd July 2016

Last Date for Payment of Application Fee through Online: 11th July 2016

Last Date for Receipt of filled in Application through Online: 12th July 2016

Issue of Hall tickets through Online: 15th July 2016

Date of LPCET-2016: 17th July 2016 (Sunday)

Date of Announcement of Results & Ranks: 20th July 2016

Handing over of list of colleges granted affiliation for that particular year by SCERT: 05th July 2016

First phase of Counseling: 25th July 2016

First Instruction Day: 01st August 2016

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality

Candidate should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended

Age Limit

The candidates should have completed 19 years as on 01st July 2016; there is no upper age limit

Educational Qualifications

Candidate who passed the minimum qualifying examinations mentioned below are eligible to apply

Telugu Pandit: BA (Telugu Literature) or (Oriental Language-Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu)

Hindi Pandit: A graduate degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognizsed qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or MA (Hindi)

Scheme of Entrance Test

The Common Entrance Exam shall be of completely objective type containing only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The duration of written exam is one and half-hours only, with maximum marks of 100

Part I: Current Affairs - 20 Questions

Part II: Numerical Ability - 10 Questions

Part III: Language - 30 Questions

Part IV: Literature - 40 Questions

b) Language: 8th Class to 10th Class

c) Literature: Degree Level

Issue of Hall Tickets

Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at from 15th July 2016 or in case any candidate could not download the Hall Ticket she/he should contact the Help Line Phone No.: 9849909150

Fee Details

The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of Exam is Rs.500/- per Candidates shall pay the fee through payment Gateway from 01st July 2016 to 12th July 2016 and submit online application at the LPCET website from 01st July 2016 to 12th July 2016

How to Apply

Candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the LPCET website and go though it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for LPCET-2016

Candidate after satisfying herself /himself about the eligibility criteria for LPCET shall pay a fee Rs.500 /- through payment Gateway from 01st July to 12th July 2016 for submission of application through online
