Eligibility Criteria for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Admission 2021

  •  For B.Com : 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (Computer knowledge preferred) from CBSE /State Board/ICSE. Candidates seeking admission shall be born on or after 1st July 2000.
  • For BCA : 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks from CBSE/ State Board/ ICSE
  • For BCA Data Science : 60% aggregate in PU/+2 in any discipline or its equivalent or 3-year Polytechnic Diploma. Mathematics is required in Plus Two.
  • For BBA : 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (Computer knowledge preferred) from CBSE /State Board/ICSE. Candidates seeking admission shall be born on or after 1st July 2000.
  • For 5 years int. M.Sc. Mathematics with Minor in Data Science : 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks and minimum of 55 % marks for mathematics from CBSE /State Board/ICSE
  • For 5 Year Integrated M. Sc. Physics with Minor in Scientific Computing : 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths and a separate minimum of 55% marks in Physics & Maths from CBSE / State Board/ ICSE
  • 5 Year Integrated M.Sc. Chemistry : 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from CBSE/State Board/ICSE and should have a separate minimum of 60% marks in Chemistry.
  • 5 Year Integrated M.A. English : 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks and minimum of 60% marks for English from CBSE/ State Board/ ICSE
  • 2 Year Master of Social Work (MSW) : Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for the degree exam can also apply.
  • For five year Integrated MSW Programme : +2 / PUC with an aggregate score of 50 % and followed by an online interview.
  • For M.com : Graduates with commerce, business administration, business management, and banking background may apply with scoring of minimum 50% from any recognized University.
  • M.Sc. Chemistry : Graduation in Chemistry or Chemistry as a main subject, with an aggregate minimum of 55% marks excluding language subjects.
  • For MA English : Graduation in English main with an aggregate minimum of 55% marks excluding language subjects.
  • For M.A. Philosophy : The applicant should hold any bachelor’s degree with a 50% mark or 5 CGPA.
  • The overall performance of a student at a degree programme is evaluated by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham using the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system of Indian 10-point grading scale.
  • Candidates with bachelor’s degrees obtained from universities outside India can convert their grades to the Indian grade equivalent prior to application.
  • It is mandatory that all international students who earned their bachelor’s degree outside India obtain an Equivalence Certificate of their bachelor’s degree from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi to confirm admission.
  • For MCA Norm 1 : Candidates who have passed B.E or B.Tech are eligible for MCA admission.
  • Norm 2 : Candidates who have passed B.Sc in Computer Science/BCA is also eligible for admission.
  • Norm 3 : Candidates who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible for admission
  • Norm 4 : Candidates who have passed B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ any other degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12th are eligible for admission in MCA course.

  • Registration for ASAS 2021 is fully online. Candidates are required to have their recent photograph, online payment credentials, etc. to be ready to complete the online application process.
  • Application fee of Rs. 750/-

Selection Process

UG

  • Based on the marks obtained in the test and interview.
  • Based on interview marks & plus two marks.

Integrated

  • 5 Year Integrated M. Sc. Mathematics with Minor in Data Science : Based on interview marks & plus two marks.
  • 5 Year Integrated M. Sc. Physics with Minor in Scientific Computing : Selection will be based only on XII marks and Entrance test only.
  • 5 Year Integrated M.Sc. Chemistry : Based on Entrance Examination score and + 2 Marks.
  • 5 Year Integrated M.A. English : Based on interview marks & plus two marks.
  • 5 Year Integrated Master of Social Work (MSW) : Selection is based on academic performance in the qualifying examination and interview.

PG

  • M.Com. : Selection is based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and interview.
  • M.Sc. Chemistry : Based on Interview Score and U. G. marks.
  • M. A. English :Selection is based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and interview.
  • M. A. Philosophy : Based on an interview
  • MCA : The candidates have to go through an Interview process which tests their knowledge in Computer Science, mathematical and communication skills
