Andhra Pradesh State Language Pandit Common Entrance Test (LPCET) 2019 Notification

LPCET 2019 Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Training Course - Online applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admission to one-year Language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Govt IASEs/CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the state to be conducted by Dept of School Education, Govt of Andhra Pradesh on 26th April 2019 in all 13 Distt. Of the State of Andhra Pradesh.

The Language Pandit Training Course is offered for qualifications of Telugu Pandit, and Hindi Pandit. The intake capacity in each institute may change from time to time.

LPCET 2019 Important Dates

  • Download of LPCET-2019 Information Bulletin: 25th April 2019
  • Payment of Fees through Online or Payment Gateway: 25th April to 18th April 2019
  • Online submission of application through online or payment gateway: 26th April to 19th May 2019
  • Help Desk services on all working days 10.30AM to 05.00 PM
  • Download of Hall Tickets: 24th May 2019
  • Date of Examination: 31st May 2019
  • Declaration of Results: 01st June 2019

Eligibility Criteria for LPCET 2019

  • Candidate should be of Indian Nationality
  • The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended

Age Limit

  • Candidates should have completed 19 years as on 01st July 2019. There is no upper age limit

Educational Qualification

  • Telugu Pandit - BA (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language - Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu)
  • Hindi Pandit - A grade degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or MA (Hindi)
  • Urdu Pandit: BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language- Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Urdu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Urdu or MA (Urdu)


LPCET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • The common Entrance Examination shall be of completely objective type containing only multiple-choice questions. The duration of written exam is Two hours only, with maximum marks of 100 as shown below
  • Part I - Current Affairs - 20 Questions
  • Part II - Numerical Ability - 10 Questions
  • Part III - Language - 30 Questions
  • Part IV - Literature - 40 Questions
  • 100 questions each carry one mark. (100 marks)

The subjects and syllabus shall be as follows:

  • Numerical Ability: Four Fundamental operations (Addition, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication) and Averages
  • Language
  • Telugu Panduit - 1st Language of 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus
  • Hindi Panduit - 2nd Language of 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus
  • Literature: Graduate Degree Standard

Issue of Hall Tickets

  • Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at https://cse.ap.gov.in from 24th May 2019
  • In case any candidate could not download the Hall ticket she/he should contact the Helpline phone number between 10.30 AM and 5.00 PM on all working days only giving details of the journal number of the fee paid, reference number of the application submitted

 Fee Details

  • The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of exam is Rs.500/-. Candidates shall pay the fee through Payment Gateway.

LPCET 2019 Application Process

  • The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the LP CET website https://cse.ap.gov.in and go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for LP CET 2019
  • Candidate after satisfying herself/himself about the eligibility criteria for LP CET shall pay a fee of Rs.500/- through Payment Gateway
  • On receipt of fee at ONLINE the candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal Number’ with which she/he can proceed with submission of application through online
  • Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received
  • Step wise detailed instructions for filling online application are given in the ‘USER GUIDE’ available on the website https://cse.ap.gov.in
