Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Training Course (LPCET) 2017

Online applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admission to one year Language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Govt IASEs/CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the state to be conducted by Dept of School Education, Govt of Andhra Pradesh on 04th May 2017 in all 23 Distt of the State

The Language Pandit Training Course is offered for qualifications of Telugu Pandit, and Hindi Pandit. The intake capacity in each institute may change from time to time

Andhra Pradesh LPCET 2017 Eligibility

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality
The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended
Age Limit
Candidates should have completed 19 years as on 01st July 2017. There is no upper age limit

Educational Qualification

Telugu Pandit - BA (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu)

Hindi Pandit - A grade degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or
Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or MA (Hindi)

Andhra Pradesh LPCET 2017 Application Procedure

The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the LP CET website http://cse.ap.gov.in and go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for LP CET 2017

Candidate after satisfying herself/himself about the eligibility criteria for LP CET shall pay a fee of Rs.500/- through Payment Gateway from 22nd March 2017 to 18th April 2017 for submission of application through Online

On receipt of fee at ONLINE the candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal Number’ with which she/he can proceed with submission of application through online

Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received

Issue of Hall Tickets

Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at http://cse.ap.gov.in from 27th April 2017

In case any candidate could not download the Hall ticket she/he should contact the Help Line phone number between 10.30 AM and 5.00 PM on all working days only giving details of the journal number of the fee paid, reference number of the application submitted

Fee Details

The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of exam is Rs.500/-. Candidates shall pay the fee through Payment Gateway from 22nd March 2017 to 18th April 2017 and submit online application at the LP CET website http://cse.ap.gov.in from 22nd Mar 2017 to 18th April 2017

Notification for conduct of LP CET: 20th Mar 2017

Submission of application through online with payment of fee: 22nd Mar 2017

Last date for payment of application fee through online: 17th April 2017

Last date of receipt of filled in application through online 18th April 2017

Generation of Hall-tickets 25th April 2017

Issue of Hall-tickets through online: 27th April 2017

Date of LP CET-2017: 04th May 2017

Date of announcement of results and ranks: 10th May 2017

Handing over of list of colleges granted affiliation for that particular year by 15th May 2017

Second phase of Counseling 14th June 2017

First Instruction day 17th June 2017

Andhra Pradesh LPCET 2017 Exam Pattern

The common Entrance Examination shall be of completely objective type containing only multiple choice questions. The duration of written examination is Two hours only, with maximum marks of 100 as shown below
Part I - Current Affairs - 20 Questions
Part II - Numerical Ability - 10 Questions
Part III - Language - 30 Questions
Part IV - Literature - 40 Questions
100 questions each carry one mark. (100 marks)

Andhra Pradesh LPCET 2017 Syllabus:

The subjects and syllabus shall be as follows:

a. Numerical ability: Four Fundamental operations (Addition, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication) and Averages

b. Language:
Telugu Panduit - 1st Language of 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus
Hindi Panduit - 2nd Language of 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus

c. Literature: Graduate Degree Standard
