Vidya Sagar University Distance learning Admission Procedure
Vidya Sagar University - one of India’s most prominent names in the field of distance education has announced the details of its admission procedure and courses for the forthcoming 2014-15 academic session.
The university is seeking application from all interested candidates provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria stated below:
There is no age bar for admission in distance learning courses offered by Vidya Sagar University. Similarly, there’s no cut of year for any of the course. Admission will be granted on first come first serve basis for the following courses:
- M.A. in Sanskrit, English, Bengali History,Political Science with Rural Administration
- M.Com with Farm Management
- M.Sc. in Bengali, English, History,Political Science with Rural Administration
- M.Sc. in Environmental Science (only for Hons. candidates)
A merit list will be prepared for other programs including M.Sc.in Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Zoology and Applied Mathematics with Oceanology and Computer Programming. Any candidate that seek admission to a course offered by the Directorate is not require furnishing migration or transfer certificates. Admissions will be only granted after thorough verification of the necessary documents.

Master of Arts in: Sanskrit, English, Bengali History,Political Science with Rural Administration
Master in Commerce in Farm Management
Master of Science in Physics and Technophysics, Botany and Forestry, Zoology, Environment, Applied Mathematics, Dietetics and Community Nutrition Management and Others (See Prospectus)
There are also a number of one-year bridge courses in Political Science with Rural Administration, History, Bengali / English, Commerce with Farm management
